Saturday 22 March

Culture Shock promotons present Equinox Vibrations, featuring ska, punk, folk and trance fusion from festival favourites Tarantism, The Splitters and The Symptoms. Plus the Big Bear sound system featuring Dubjon.

12-piece mambo ska band Ska Cubano storms the Sage.

Friday 4 April

Six hours of reggae sounds in the Chillspace room at psytrance night Conscious Monkeys from Lady K and the Birdman alongside Stalawatt and Lionsden. Plus 'nuff other stuff in the main Psyspace room and elsewhere. Check the night's Myspace site for full details.

Dub inna Pub: every Wednesday

Newcastle's longest running reggae night, established way back in 1998 and still going strong! Reggae and dub from Calculus, Dubcat and Qzo. Weekly, Wednesday nights.

Wisetribe: first Saturday of every month

Live reggae from a different band each month, with dub, reggae, ska and beats from residents Calculus and Dubcat, with Birdman on the mic. Local bands Ashram and The Emperor's Dentist have featured in the early months of Newcastle's newest reggae night, with plenty more to come. First Staturday of every month.

Curves / Dub inna Club: third Friday of every month
